1999 Plymouth Prowler

The Plymouth Prowler was brought to life in one of the most car-crazy states in the US, California. The idea for the Prowler came about at an “idea fair” held at Chrysler Pacifica in 1990 and, eventually, was designed by Kevin Verduyn, Design Director for Chrysler at the time. The concept car was introduced in January 1993 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and was an instant hit with the public. In 1996, the production car was introduced at the same auto show.

Rick Hendrick presented this beautiful yellow prowler to Ray for leading Jeff Gordon and the Rainbow Warriors to win the 1997 Winston Cup Championship, hints the license plate “1 Cup 97.”
