1969 Dodge Charger Daytona 500

Ray purchased this extremely rare car on February 10, 2012 from a New York state trooper. It includes a 440 engine with a 4-speed transmission, high back wing and removable nose cone.

The 1969 Dodge Daytona 500 was one of the original “Winged Warriors”, a nickname that was given to the Aero Cars produced for NASCAR competition by Dodge and Plymouth. Due to their incredible speed and performance on the track, all of the “Winged Warriors” were banned from competition by the end of the 1970 NASCAR season.

Due to its rarity and impeccable condition, this green beauty was featured in the July 2000 issue of the popular car magazine, Mopar Muscle, and has won many different awards in Mopar muscle competitions, most notably the Mopar Nationals in 1995.
